She suggested me to tell 8 facts ( tho more like large headcanons lol) about my headcanon Handy
I know he’s not my OC but as much as it is my own version of him I’ll do it >:3
1. Let’s begin with a simple things. Personality. If you first met him well, you’d probably avoid his company as much as he’d act rude,sullen,short tempered and misanthropic. Plus, he doesn’t likes talking to people and spends most of his time alone building something. But you’re wrong if you think that this is his real persona. The thing is that behind that mask hides a tortured soul with an extreme self loathing. Because of his lack of hands he feels like he’s just a waste of space, absolutely useless, nothing and he tries his best to overcome that feelings to become “something” cuz without hard work you will never reach nothing. He does everything he can to show everyone ( to himself especially) that even without hands he can still do something, that he isn’t weak. There’s no surprise he acts that aggressive, I mean, it’s hard to stay calm when so many negative emotions are still inside you.
2.He has a problems in trusting but if he will happen to know you better you’ll probably see how kind he really is. He will even build you something as a gift.:3 He will still act a bit rude tho if something will annoy him. The Mole happens to be a person who Handy trusts the most so he isn’t afraid of being himself with him. ( h e h a s a c r u s h o n h i m(okay just kidding))
3.He is a huge steampunk fan! And by huge I mean HUGE. Most of his inventions are made in a steampunk style and he sometimes tries to act like a Victorian gentleman with people he likes. This is pretty noticeable by his clothes and red bow-tie that he always wears. Also,this genre became an inspiration for him to become a pilot when he was a toddler. And it also explains his huge love to trains.( pls no meme joke)
4.Most of you probably already know it, but he happens to be Toothy’s adoptive father( uncle in old headcanons). Despite difficulties in raising a teenager (tho he used to raise him from when Toothy was 5) he really loves him and his son is one of the few things that still keeps him “alive”(aka he still haven’t killed himself lol). Also, saving Toothy became a reason of his lack of hands but let’s talk about it in the next fact.
5.He had cut his hands to save his son’s life. So, before Handy lost his hands, he used to be a very well know and good engineer in the city where he and his son used to live before Happy Forest. Thanks to that he was invited in Canada to work with a very big company so he and Toothy decided to move by train to live near the place of Handy’s new job. But in the middle of the ride, train had crashed and the train was set on fire. The fallen ruins of train had pressed all Toothy’s body and Handy’s hands. Handy knew that Toothy can die from suffocating of fire smoke if he won’t free him from ruins so he forced himself to cut his hands to save Toothy. Both of them happened to be ones of the few survivors in the accident. The nearest inhabited locality they found while escaping was Happy Forest where both decided to live. This accident became very traumatizing for both of them.
6.He is actually bisexual demiromantic tho he hides it from most of the people.The reason for this- he is very religious person so he feels quiet shy about his sexual orientation.
7.He has a few difficulties in relationships with Petunia. They both are good friends but they often have quarrels because of their different personalities and opinions. Also a Petunia really cares about Handy’s health so Handy knows that it’s better not to smoke or swear near her (tho Petunia isn’t the only person who dislikes Handy’s smoking addict and use of strong language but he seems to ignore their opinions on it, unlike with Petunia)
8.His real name is Manuel, Handy’s just a silly nickname that his colleagues on work made for him. Because of that Cuddles sometimes calls him Handy Manny which annoys Handy quite a lot :”)

Okay so I noticed that Petunia sometimes is drawn holding Handy plushie cuz ya know crushes and shipping artworks and stuff. So I got a question: why the fuck she has Handy plushie and I still don’t? Like really, I know she’s his “girlfriend” but I want Handy plushie too! Why I can’t have Handy plushie? Why?
Also, do you like just go to shop and buy a toy of your crush or what? Like really, how did she got a damn Handy plushie? Is he’s along with Cuddles and Flippy are some sort of real machos so people in HTF universe make merchandise with them? Okay so why can’t I have a plushie of my crush? Or these are voodoo dolls? So 8 facts about yall local albino bitch Lavender!
1. When I first first made her she supported to be a typical dumpass bitch bully who, in a very very first Oak Hunters(?) scenario from like 2014, was killed by Petunia. Also she was supported to be a green weasel who wore dark green dress.
2. I used to change her personality a lot since I first created her. And to be honest I still have problems with it
3. Despite multiple changes of personality,design and role, her name always was Lavender aka it never changed. This is quite ironic cuz in non of her old designs she had lavender fur.
4. As much as you know,she's an albino, thank to that she has a lethal "allergy on sun" (in different "episode" it's syptoms and cause of death is different making her deaths not too plain). Because of that she usually stayes at home at the morning and day and goes out only night which causes her sleeping problems. In the "fan episodes" I made in my head with her usually something happens that forces her to go out on sun like empty fridge,noisy neighbors and etc. When she goes out she covers all her body in black clothes and takes out umbrella. Despite that genious way to protect herself something usually goes wrong,sometimes because of her stubborn and unfriendly persona and lack of sleep, and she dies because of her allergy. oof that was a long one
5. She actually has a few friends with tho she's really kind. At night she bakes cookies for them and gives them as a gifts while they sleep. :3
6. To not make her house look too dark and dismal she uses little lamps and flowers as decor.
7. Despite her girly look and house decor she's tomboish and rebel young lady,who doesn't really shows any girly traits.
8. Some people find her creepy and weird which annoys her a lot.

1. As much as ya'll know this isn't the first design of my fursona. I used to change around 5 designs (as much as I remeber) before I got final design that I liked. Plus I like hedgehogs :3
